Easy Breakfast Casserole: A Father’s Day Treat

If you are looking for a breakfast dish to make for Father’s Day on Sunday, this is it! A tasty and satisfying breakfast that will only take you ten minutes to prepare. Sausage, egg and cheese with a crescent roll crust, your husband will not be disappointed. Ingredients: 1 can crescent rolls 1 lb. country sausage 2 cups shredded cheese 3 eggs, beaten 1/4 cup milk dash of salt and pepper Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown sausage in a skillet, drain fat; set aside. Beat eggs, milk, and salt + pepper together. Butter a 9×11 casserole dish. Unfold crescent rolls and gently pull apart, place in bottom of dish to form a crust. Sprinkle sausage on top of the crescent roll crust. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on top of the sausage. Pour egg mixture on top. Top casserole with remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Let stand for a few minutes before serving. Cut in squares and enjoy!
